Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HY-0002a is a small-molecule inhibitor developed by Huiyu Anlaibo Pharmaceutical Technology, a subsidiary of Sichuan Huiyu Pharmaceutical. It is designed to target specific mutations in the KRAS protein, notably KRAS G12C and KRAS G96D. KRAS is a GTPase that plays a critical role in cell signaling; mutations in this protein are frequent drivers in various cancers, leading to uncontrolled cell proliferation. By inhibiting these mutant forms, HY-0002a aims to disrupt oncogenic signaling pathways. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and ovarian cancer.
