Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HY-0006 is a small molecule inhibitor of Son of sevenless homolog 1 (SOS1), developed by Huiyu Anlaibo Pharmaceutical Technology (a subsidiary of Sichuan Huiyu Pharmaceutical). SOS1 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that facilitates the activation of RAS proteins, such as KRAS, by promoting the exchange of bound GDP for GTP. By targeting SOS1, HY-0006 disrupts the activation of the RAS-MAPK signaling pathway, which is a primary driver of cell proliferation and survival in many human cancers. The drug is designed to treat solid tumors, particularly those harboring KRAS mutations, either as a monotherapy or in combination with other targeted agents to overcome adaptive resistance. It is currently in the IND-enabling to Phase 1 stage of clinical development.
