HY peptide

HY peptide is an antagonistic peptide that specifically binds to the second extracellular loop of the C-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CCR5). It is being investigated for its therapeutic potential in reducing airway inflammation and mucus secretion in asthmatic conditions, primarily by inhibiting the CCR5-mediated IL-23/T helper 17 (Th17) signaling pathway. The peptide has also been shown to regulate inflammation through other mechanisms, including the NF-κB/TNF-α signaling pathway and by upregulating autophagy-related genes.
