Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HY-Q57215 is a first-in-class small molecule inhibitor targeting the interleukin-35 (IL-35) protein-binding pocket. Identified through a high-throughput virtual screen of 500 million compounds by researchers at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the compound disrupts the KRAS-induced IL35-STAT3 positive feedback loop. This signaling axis is a critical driver of natural killer (NK) cell exclusion from the tumor microenvironment in KRAS-mutant lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). By blocking IL-35, HY-Q57215 restores NK cell infiltration and exhibits potent anti-tumor efficacy in preclinical models of LUAD.
