Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HY001N is an autologous CD19-targeted chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Juventas Cell Therapy Ltd. It is manufactured using the company's proprietary NexT (Fast-preparation) technology platform, which significantly optimizes the production process by reducing ex vivo expansion time to less than two days. This innovation shortens the total vein-to-vein wait time for patients to approximately ten days, compared to the standard 2-4 weeks for traditional CAR-T products. HY001N is designed to deplete CD19-positive B cells, thereby eliminating the source of pathogenic autoantibodies and "resetting" the immune system in patients with antibody-mediated autoimmune diseases. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for various relapsed or refractory autoimmune conditions, including neurological autoimmune diseases such as neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), myasthenia gravis (MG), and multiple sclerosis (MS), as well as autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA).
