Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HY026 is an autologous, next-generation chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Juventas Cell Therapy. Utilizing the company's proprietary NexT platform, HY026 is engineered to target the epidermal growth factor receptor variant III (EGFRvIII), a tumor-specific mutation frequently expressed in various solid tumors. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR specific to EGFRvIII, enabling the immune system to selectively identify and eliminate malignant cells while sparing healthy tissue that lacks the mutation. HY026 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 investigator-initiated clinical trials in China for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
