HY035 is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD7 antigen, developed by the Institute of Hematology & Blood Diseases Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. CD7 is a cell surface glycoprotein highly expressed in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL), and certain cases of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The therapy involves the genetic modification of T cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes CD7, allowing the engineered cells to target and lyse CD7-positive malignant cells. HY035 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory CD7-positive hematologic malignancies.
