Hy2Care Injectable hydrogel

Hy2Care Injectable hydrogel is an in-situ forming, biodegradable scaffold developed for the functional repair and regeneration of articular cartilage defects, specifically in the knee. The product consists of a polymer-based hydrogel (typically dextran and hyaluronic acid conjugates) that is injected into the cartilage defect during a surgical procedure. Once applied, it undergoes rapid enzymatic crosslinking to form a stable, biocompatible matrix that mimics the natural environment of cartilage, facilitating cell infiltration and the synthesis of new extracellular matrix. It is primarily indicated for patients with small focal cartilage lesions and is currently being evaluated in pivotal clinical trials to support CE marking and commercialization.
