HY6-F9DHS is an engineered monoclonal antibody targeting fentanyl and fentanyl analogues, designed for the treatment of opioid-related overdoses and opioid use disorder. This antibody was developed by introducing specific mutations in the Fc region of an IgG1 anti-fentanyl monoclonal antibody to enhance its binding affinity to the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn), thereby increasing its serum half-life and therapeutic efficacy. In animal models, HY6-F9DHS demonstrated extended persistence in serum compared to the wild-type antibody and provided effective protection against fentanyl-induced toxic effects[1].
