Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hyal-Phage P is an experimental drug candidate developed by iNtRON Biotechnology using its proprietary IMPA™ (Intelligent Micro-Phage Application) platform. It utilizes engineered bacteriophages as a delivery vehicle for hyaluronidase to the subcutaneous tissue. The primary objective of this platform is to enhance the absorption and dispersion of co-administered subcutaneous injections by breaking down hyaluronan in the extracellular matrix. This mechanism facilitates the delivery of large-volume or high-molecular-weight therapeutics that are otherwise difficult to administer via the subcutaneous route.
