HYALGO

**HYALGO** is a single-use intra-articular viscosupplementing medical-device product developed by Fidia Farmaceutici for symptomatic **knee osteoarthritis**. Each 2 mL prefilled syringe contains high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid obtained by biofermentation and shark-derived chondroitin sulfate, each at 40 mg/mL. The formulation is intended to supplement synovial-fluid viscoelasticity and lubrication, helping reduce pain and improve joint function. In a prospective multicenter study of patients with Kellgren-Lawrence grade II–III knee osteoarthritis, three weekly injections were associated with sustained improvements in pain, WOMAC scores, and responder rates through 26 weeks.
