Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hyalidra (also referred to as Hyaldra) is a hormone-free vaginal lubricating and moisturizing gel developed by Laboratoire CCD. Although sometimes categorized alongside dietary supplements in consumer health contexts, it is formally classified as a Class IIa medical device (CE 0482 certified). The formulation contains hyaluronic acid, glycerin, betaine, xanthan gum, and pullulan, which work together to form a bioadhesive film on the vaginal mucosa. This film provides immediate lubrication, long-lasting hydration, and protection against osmotic stress while maintaining the physiological vaginal pH between 4.5 and 5.2. It is indicated for women experiencing vaginal dryness due to menopause, postpartum changes, breastfeeding, or medical treatments such as chemotherapy or hormonal therapy.
