Hyalograft 3D autograft is an autologous tissue-engineered dermal substitute developed by Fidia Advanced Biopolymers Srl. It consists of a resorbable three-dimensional hyaluronic acid ester-based scaffold (HYAFF) onto which the patient's own fibroblasts are seeded and expanded in the laboratory. The product is designed to treat diabetic foot ulcers by providing a structural dermal matrix and facilitating the secretion of growth factors and cytokines that promote wound healing. It was typically used as the dermal component of the TissueTech Autograft System (TTAS) in conjunction with Laserskin autograft (the epidermal component). The product was introduced in the late 1990s but has since been discontinued.
