Overview

Hyaltop is a sodium hyaluronate-based viscosupplement developed by Shin Poong Pharmaceutical for the treatment of osteoarthritis, particularly of the knee, and periarthritis of the shoulder. It is designed to be administered via intra-articular injection to replenish the viscoelasticity of the synovial fluid, which is compromised in degenerative joint diseases. By restoring lubrication and shock-absorbing properties within the joint, Hyaltop reduces mechanical friction and pain while improving mobility. It is approved and marketed in South Korea.
