Hyaluronan-oxime hydrogel is a biocompatible, in situ gelling polymer system designed for the sustained and localized delivery of therapeutic agents. Formed through a chemoselective oxime ligation between functionalized hyaluronic acid derivatives, the hydrogel creates a stable scaffold upon injection. In the context of ophthalmology, it has been utilized to encapsulate colloidal drug aggregates, such as timolol prodrugs, for the long-term management of glaucoma.
