Hyaluronic acid-engineered milk extracellular vesicles (HA-milk sEVs) are small extracellular vesicles isolated from cow milk and covalently functionalized with hyaluronic acid (HA) of varying molecular weights. Their primary mechanism is targeting the overexpressed Cluster of Differentiation 44 (CD44) cell surface receptor, which is highly expressed in certain cancer cells, particularly triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).
