Overview

Hyaluronidase PB3000 is a recombinant enzyme developed by Proteos Biotech, specifically formulated at a concentration of 3000 IU. Derived from *Streptococcus pyogenes*, this biologic agent functions by enzymatically degrading hyaluronic acid (HA) within the extracellular matrix. It is primarily indicated for the management of complications associated with hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers, such as overcorrection, improper placement, or inflammatory reactions. Additionally, it is utilized in aesthetic medicine for facial, periocular, and hand rejuvenation, as well as for treating cellulite and localized fibrosis. The enzyme promotes tissue drainage and the resorption of excess fluids and hyaluronic acid accumulations. It is administered via intradermal or subcutaneous injection by healthcare professionals.
