HyLyt is a veterinary dermatologic shampoo formulation used for routine cleansing and management of dry, sensitive, or irritated skin in dogs and cats, combining a soap-free surfactant base with emollients, humectants, and essential fatty acids to support the epidermal barrier and maintain skin hydration.[13] It is marketed as a gentle, hypoallergenic cleansing product that helps replenish surface lipids and moisture without stripping natural oils, and is typically used under veterinary guidance for pets with atopic, seborrheic, or otherwise compromised skin, as well as for regular grooming of animals requiring a milder shampoo.[13]
