hYP7-PC is an experimental antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting glypican-3 (GPC3), a cell-surface protein highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Developed by researchers at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the ADC consists of the humanized monoclonal antibody hYP7 conjugated to a pyrrolobenzodiazepine (PBD) dimer payload. PBD dimers are potent DNA-alkylating agents that induce interstrand cross-links, leading to cell death. In preclinical studies, hYP7-PC demonstrated significant anti-tumor activity and induced tumor regression in multiple mouse models of liver cancer as a monotherapy.
