HYR04 is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) capsule developed by Tiandi Hengyi for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, specifically targeting patients with the cold-dampness obstruction pattern (寒湿痹阻证). Registered as a Class 2.3 TCM modified new drug in China, HYR04 is a clinical-stage development of the company's marketed Huoluo Xiaotong capsule (活络消痛胶囊), which is formulated from a mixture of ten herbal ingredients including Acanthopanax senticosus extract, Clematis chinensis, Angelica sinensis, processed Aconitum carmichaelii, processed Aconitum kusnezoffii, Ephedra sinica, Anemone raddeana, Salvia miltiorrhiza, processed Boswellia carterii, and processed Commiphora myrrha. HYR04 is currently undergoing Phase II clinical evaluation in China to assess its efficacy in improving knee pain and joint function.
