Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HZ-L105 is a next-generation, Class 1 innovative small molecule inhibitor targeting the B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2) anti-apoptotic protein. Developed jointly by Hangzhou HealZen Therapeutics (Hangzhou HeZheng Pharmaceutical) and Guangdong Hongye Pharmaceutical Technology, it is designed for the treatment of hematological cancers, specifically mature B-cell malignancies. The drug is characterized by high selectivity and potency, with optimized pharmacokinetic properties such as enhanced oral absorption, superior plasma exposure, and improved metabolic stability compared to earlier generation inhibitors. It also demonstrates a low potential for inhibiting hepatic metabolic enzymes, thereby reducing the risk of drug-drug interactions.
