Overview

HZ-Q1070 is a Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) targeted protein degrader (PROTAC) being developed by Hangzhou HeZheng Pharmaceutical (also known as HealZen Therapeutics). Developed using the company's proprietary DaTProD platform, which integrates omics and AI technology, HZ-Q1070 is designed to induce the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of the BTK protein. It has demonstrated high potency in cancer cell lines (DC50 < 0.05 nM) and is specifically engineered to overcome resistance to covalent BTK inhibitors by degrading mutated forms of the kinase, including C481S, C481Y, C481F, and T474M mutations. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies and is also in development for autoimmune diseases.
