HZ007 is an investigational small molecule drug candidate developed by Zhejiang Heze Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. It is designed as a dual inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE), the primary enzymes responsible for the degradation of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the brain.
