Drug intelligence / Profile preview
I-040302, subsequently designated **KUR-112**, was an investigational locally administered bone-regeneration product developed by Kuros for solitary bone cysts. The product combined TGplPTH1-34, a recombinant parathyroid hormone 1-34 transglutaminase-fusion derivative, with a fibrin sealant matrix. The fusion protein is designed to become covalently incorporated into the fibrin matrix during administration, retaining parathyroid hormone activity locally and stimulating new bone formation through parathyroid hormone 1 receptor activation. It was evaluated as a single intralesional injection in children and young adults with solitary bone cysts in a Phase 2 study that was withdrawn; the KUR-112 program was subsequently discontinued.
