Drug intelligence / Profile preview
i-fresh GEL is an ophthalmic topical formulation developed and marketed by the Portuguese pharmaceutical company DÁVI. It is a combination product containing 5% dexpanthenol and 0.3% carbomer, designed to treat symptoms of dry eye and related ocular discomfort. Carbomer acts as a viscosity-increasing agent that forms a stable, lubricating, and moisturizing film over the ocular surface, providing long-lasting relief from dryness, burning, and foreign body sensations. Dexpanthenol, a provitamin of B5, serves as a moisturizing and healing agent that supports the regeneration of the corneal epithelium. The product is particularly indicated for ocular fatigue and irritation caused by environmental factors such as prolonged computer use, air conditioning, or heating.
