Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IA-101 is an oral small molecule immune booster developed by ImmuneAGE Bio to address immune senescence in elderly populations. The compound was identified through the company's proprietary discovery platform, which utilizes large-scale ex vivo combinatorial drug screening to target hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) in the bone marrow. By rejuvenating HSC function, IA-101 aims to enhance the immune system's ability to combat respiratory infections and improve the efficacy of vaccine responses in older adults. As of 2024, the program is undergoing IND-enabling studies.
