IA001 is an investigational intravenous **tocilizumab biosimilar** developed for inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. It is a monoclonal antibody designed to antagonize interleukin-6 receptor alpha, thereby blocking signaling through both soluble and membrane-associated IL-6 receptors and reducing IL-6-driven inflammatory activity.
