IAE0972 + taxanes

IAE0972 + taxanes is a combination therapy under clinical investigation for the treatment of recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (R/M HNSCC) and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). IAE0972 is an immunocytokine developed in-house by a Chinese biotech company, designed to modulate the immune response against tumors. Taxanes are a class of chemotherapy agents that function as microtubule inhibitors, disrupting cell division and inducing cancer cell death. The combination aims to leverage both direct cytotoxic effects from taxanes and immune-mediated antitumor activity from IAE0972. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate safety, tolerability, maximum tolerated dose (MTD), and efficacy in patients who have failed or progressed after prior systemic therapies[2][6][1].
