Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ialuril Soft Gels is an oral nutraceutical combination product containing hyaluronic acid (HA), chondroitin sulfate (CS), curcumin, and quercetin. Developed and marketed by IBSA Farmaceutici, it is designed to support the health of the bladder urothelium by replenishing the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer and providing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant protection. The formulation aims to protect the bladder wall from irritants and pathogens, making it particularly useful for the prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in vulnerable populations, such as female patients with multiple sclerosis. It has also been investigated for managing lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) following intravesical chemotherapy and for the treatment of chronic prostatitis/primary prostate pain syndrome.
