Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IAR037 is a novel bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously activate CD40 and block PD-L1. Developed by Innovent Biologics, it leverages dual mechanisms to both stimulate immune activation via CD40 agonism and inhibit immune checkpoint signaling through PD-L1 blockade. Preclinical studies have demonstrated potent anti-tumor efficacy in models resistant to prior immune checkpoint inhibitors, with evidence of tumor-specific immune activation and minimal systemic toxicity. The drug is being investigated as a therapeutic approach for advanced solid tumors that are resistant to current immunotherapies[1][3][4].
