Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IASO107 (formerly PCART7) is an autologous CAR-T cell therapy targeting CD7, developed for the treatment of T-cell malignancies and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The therapy utilizes the proprietary Protein Expression Blocker (PEBL) technology platform, which prevents the surface expression of CD7 on the CAR-T cells themselves. This intracellular sequestration of CD7 prevents "fratricide"—the self-destruction of CAR-T cells during production and after infusion—thereby enhancing the expansion and persistence of the therapeutic cells. Originally the lead asset of Singapore-based MediSix Therapeutics, IASO107 was added to the pipeline of IASO Biotechnology following its acquisition of MediSix. It is currently in early-stage clinical development, showing potential in patients with relapsed or refractory CD7-positive hematologic cancers.
