Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IASO209 (also known as IASO-209) is a fully human monoclonal antibody developed by Nanjing Reindeer Medical Technology (IASO Bio) using its proprietary fully human antibody discovery platform. The antibody specifically targets Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein that is highly expressed in various solid tumors, including gastric, gastroesophageal junction, and pancreatic cancers, while having limited expression in normal tissues. IASO209 serves as a foundational component for IASO Bio's broader pipeline, including its use as the antigen-binding domain in chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies (such as IASO-G028A/CT128) and potentially in other modalities like antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) or bispecific antibodies. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development as a standalone candidate for the treatment of CLDN18.2-positive solid tumors.
