Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IB-002A is a therapeutic vaccine developed by ILiAD Biotechnologies. It is derived from the B-Tech platform and is being investigated as an immunostimulant, specifically designed to optimize therapeutic effects for allergic diseases such as asthma. The drug acts by stimulating the immune system, aiming to prevent or treat immune-mediated respiratory conditions. Preclinical studies with related B-Tech candidates have shown protection against allergic airway inflammation and contact dermatitis in animal models, and ongoing research includes potential applications in neurodegenerative disease models. As of March 2025, IB-002A has reached early Phase 1 clinical development for asthma[1][7].
