Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IBB0979 is a potential first-in-class immunocytokine designed for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. It is composed of an antibody moiety targeting B7-H3 (CD276), which is overexpressed in a wide range of cancers, fused to interleukin-10 (IL-10). The drug acts as both a B7-H3 agonist and an IL-10 agonist, aiming to deliver IL-10 specifically to tumor sites and activate immune cells such as CD8+ T cells and potentially NK cells within the tumor microenvironment. Developed by SunHo BioPharmaceutical, IBB0979 has received IND approval from both the FDA and NMPA and is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for advanced solid tumors[1][3][5]. Its administration routes include intravenous and subcutaneous injection.
