Overview

IBC-0966 is a clinical-stage fusion protein designed as a multi-specific immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting CD47, PD-L1 (Programmed death-ligand 1), and SIRPα (Signal-regulatory protein alpha). It acts as an inhibitor of all three targets. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced cancers, including metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and peripheral T-cell lymphoma. By simultaneously blocking the CD47/SIRPα pathway—which normally inhibits phagocytosis by myeloid cells—and the PD-L1/PD-1 axis—which suppresses T cell activity—IBC-0966 aims to enhance both innate and adaptive anti-tumor immune responses. The developer is Beijing Sunho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., with active involvement from Sunho (China) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The drug is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical trials[1][2][3][6].
