Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IBI3028 is a recombinant humanized bispecific antibody developed by Innovent Biologics that targets Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) and the CD3 receptor on T cells. Designed as a T-cell engager, IBI3028 facilitates the formation of an immunological synapse between CLDN18.2-positive tumor cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes, leading to T-cell activation and subsequent lysis of the cancer cells. CLDN18.2 is a highly specific cell-surface antigen frequently overexpressed in gastric, gastroesophageal junction, and pancreatic cancers, making it a promising target for precision oncology. IBI3028 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, aiming to provide a potent immunotherapy option for patients with limited treatment alternatives.
