IBI3034

IBI3034 is a novel TACI/BCMA chimeric Fc fusion protein developed by Innovent Biologics for the treatment of B-cell-related autoimmune diseases. It is engineered with YTE technology to extend its half-life, potentially allowing for longer dosing intervals. The drug works by providing balanced dual inhibition of B-cell activating factor (BAFF) and a proliferation-inducing ligand (APRIL) at nanomolar levels. This dual blockade leads to the depletion of B cells and plasma cells and the suppression of immunoglobulin production. IBI3034 is currently being investigated for autoimmune conditions including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), IgA nephropathy (IgAN), and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Preclinical studies have demonstrated that the drug is well tolerated at high doses and a high-concentration formulation has been developed to facilitate subcutaneous administration.
