IBI3038

IBI3038 is an innovative, first-in-class bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously target the insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF-1R) and interleukin-6 (IL-6). Developed by Innovent Biologics in collaboration with iORGANtech, the molecule is engineered to address fibrosis-related autoimmune diseases, particularly systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease (SSc-ILD). By co-blocking IGF-1R and IL-6 signaling pathways, IBI3038 aims to suppress both chronic inflammation and the activation of fibroblasts, which are key drivers of pathological fibrosis. Preclinical data indicate that IBI3038 potently inhibits cell proliferation and collagen deposition, showing superior anti-fibrotic effects in animal models compared to monotherapy targeting either pathway alone.
