Overview

IBI3040 is a novel amylin analog being developed by Innovent Biologics for the treatment of obesity and metabolic diseases. As a biologic targeting the amylin pathway, it has demonstrated superior weight loss in preclinical models compared to existing therapies. It is part of Innovent's next-generation obesity and metabolic disease pipeline, which is designed to address unmet needs regarding tolerability, muscle preservation, dosing convenience, durability of weight loss, and management of obesity-related comorbidities. Preclinical data for IBI3040 was presented at the 2026 American Diabetes Association (ADA) Scientific Sessions.
