Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IBI3055 is an investigational tri-specific antibody being developed by Innovent Biologics for the treatment of B cell- and plasma cell-mediated autoimmune diseases. The molecule targets three distinct biological markers: CD19, B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), and CD3. It utilizes an innovative '1+1+1' T-cell engager format with steric hindrance-based CD3 masking technology, designed to minimize non-specific T-cell activation and reduce the risk of cytokine release syndrome while achieving potent depletion of pathogenic immune cells. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that IBI3055 effectively depletes B cells and plasma cells across multiple compartments and reduces circulating immunoglobulin levels.
