IBI325 is a fully human, high-affinity monoclonal antibody that targets CD73 (ecto-5'-nucleotidase), an enzyme expressed on tumor and stromal cells. By binding to CD73, IBI325 inhibits its enzymatic activity, thereby preventing the conversion of extracellular adenosine monophosphate (AMP) to adenosine. This action relieves immunosuppression in the tumor microenvironment by reducing adenosine-mediated inhibition of immune responses, leading to enhanced T cell proliferation and cytokine release. Preclinical studies have shown that IBI325 induces significant tumor regression and works synergistically with PD-1 inhibitors. The drug is being developed primarily for advanced solid tumors by Innovent Biologics[1][2][3][4][5].
