Overview

Iboxamase (P2G) is an oral enzyme biologic developed by Synthetic Biologics. It is a component of the drug candidate SYN-004, which is designed to prevent *Clostridioides difficile* infection. Iboxamase achieves this by inactivating intravenous antibiotics within the gastrointestinal tract, thereby preserving the gut microbiome.
