Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IBX13-ADC is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Ibex Biosciences. As an ADC, it consists of a monoclonal antibody linked to a cytotoxic chemotherapy payload via a chemical linker. The antibody component targets specific antigens on the surface of cancer cells, allowing for targeted delivery of the cytotoxic agent directly into malignant cells while minimizing damage to healthy tissue. This approach aims to improve efficacy and reduce systemic toxicity compared to conventional chemotherapy. IBX13-ADC is being investigated primarily for the treatment of neoplasms, with colonic cancer as its lead indication[1]. As of May 2025, its highest development status is preclinical[1].
