IC-17-7FB is a solid-state fermented fungal product derived from the fruiting body of *Isaria cicadae* Miquel (strain Ic-17-7), developed by BioAsia Pharmaceutical. Rich in active nucleosides such as adenosine and N6-(2-hydroxyethyl)adenosine (HEA), IC-17-7FB is being investigated in preclinical models for its potential therapeutic benefits in metabolic disorders. In a rat model of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), administration of IC-17-7FB significantly reduced fasting blood glucose levels and improved lipid profiles, including total cholesterol, triglycerides, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C).
