IC100

IC100 is a humanized monoclonal IgG4 antibody designed to inhibit the adaptor protein ASC (Apoptosis-associated Speck-like protein containing a CARD), a critical component of multiple inflammasomes including NLRP1 and NLRP3. Developed by InflamaCORE, LLC, IC100 acts both intracellularly and extracellularly to block the formation and activation of inflammasomes, as well as to disrupt the structure of ASC specks. By inhibiting these processes, the drug prevents the maturation and release of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and IL-18, thereby mitigating the massive inflammatory response associated with various conditions. IC100 has demonstrated the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and is being investigated for a wide range of inflammatory and neuroinflammatory diseases, including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer's disease, and multiple sclerosis.
