Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ICA01 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived Natural Killer (NK) cell therapy developed by iCamuno Biotherapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. As an "off-the-shelf" (allogeneic) immunotherapy, ICA01 is produced from a standardized master iPSC cell line, which allows for the generation of a consistent and scalable supply of therapeutic cells, bypassing the need for patient-specific manufacturing. The therapy utilizes the innate cytotoxic capabilities of NK cells to identify and eliminate malignant cells in solid tumors. ICA01 is the lead candidate in iCamuno's pipeline and is currently transitioning from IND-enabling studies into early-phase clinical development.
