Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ICAIT DC Vaccine (Prostate Cancer) is an autologous dendritic cell-based immunotherapy being developed by ImmunoRestoration for the treatment of prostate cancer. Utilizing the company's proprietary ICAIT™ (Immune Cell Activation and Immunotherapy Technology) platform, the vaccine consists of dendritic cells pulsed with HER-2 (Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2) antigens. The mechanism of action involves priming the patient's immune system to recognize and mount an adaptive immune response against HER-2-expressing tumor cells. As of early 2020, the candidate was in the preclinical stage of development, with the platform also being applied to several other HER-2 positive solid tumors.
