ICE-TUBE is an investigational donor-derived corneal endothelial cell therapy developed by GN Corporation and the Nichi-In Centre for Regenerative Medicine for corneal endothelial disease, including bullous keratopathy. The approach expands corneal endothelial precursor cells isolated from a single cadaver donor cornea and transplants them into recipient eyes using BLIS-FILM, a nanocomposite gel-film scaffold intended to support cell attachment and engraftment. The program is intended to restore corneal endothelial function and reduce dependence on full donor-corneal transplantation.
