ICT01 + aldesleukin is a combination therapy composed of ICT01, a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets butyrophilin subfamily 3 member A (BTN3A), and aldesleukin, a recombinant interleukin-2 (IL-2) cytokine. ICT01 selectively activates γ9δ2 T cells via BTN3A, promoting anti-tumor immune responses. Aldesleukin (Proleukin) is a recombinant IL-2 that stimulates the proliferation and activation of T lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells, amplifying immune-mediated anti-tumor activity. The combination is being developed to enhance immune responses in advanced solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, under evaluation in phase 1/2 clinical studies for cancers such as metastatic colorectal cancer, melanoma, castration-resistant prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The regimen is typically administered via intravenous (ICT01) and subcutaneous (aldesleukin) routes and is being investigated with or without pembrolizumab in clinical trials[1][3][6][7].
