Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ICT568 is an autologous CAR-T cell therapy targeting the thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR) for the treatment of thyroid cancer. Developed by Innovative Cellular Therapeutics (ICT), the therapy utilizes the proprietary CoupledCAR and InvivoCAR platforms. These platforms are designed to enhance the expansion and persistence of CAR-T cells in vivo, which is a significant challenge in treating solid tumors. TSHR is highly expressed in differentiated thyroid cancers, making it a specific target for patients with refractory or relapsed disease, particularly those who have undergone thyroidectomy and developed resistance to standard treatments like radioactive iodine therapy. The therapy is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
